Abstract

The acute coronary syndromes [unstable angina (UA) and acute myocardial infarction (AMI)] are more dangerous than other ischemic heart diseases (IHD) due to acute morphological changes in atherosclerotic plaques which cause (acute ischemia) severe imbalance between myocardium demand and oxygen supply.
