Mechanical properties of heat resistant steel for main steam pipe of utility boiler after 6 years of service

Abstract

Grade 92 steel pipe was replaced after 6 years of service. In this paper, the steel was tested and analyzed by tensile test at room temperature and high temperature and microhardness test. The test results show that the mechanical properties of the steel still meet the requirements of relevant standards after 6 years of service.
