Abstract

The purpose of this review is to emphasize the usefulness of reading Demografia României [The Demography of Romania] not only for demographers but also for specialists from other areas who are interested in population studies. The book contains an extensive analysis of more than 100 years of demographic phenomena and processes, being an excellent example of how to work with quantitative data in general and demographic data in particular.
