A Low-Latency Collision-Free Optical Burst Switching Ring Network Protocol

Abstract

We evaluated two types of token protocols, JET and ODD, and SBCT protocol for OBS ring networks. It turned out that SBCT protocol shows the best performance of throughput and ETE delay for OBS ring networks among collision-free protocols.
