Abstract

Aim: Obesity is a risk factor for sexual dysfunction. The aim of this study is to investigate the frequency of sexual dysfunction in morbidly obese patients. Methods: The sample of the study consisted of 78 morbidly obese patients with BMI>40 kg/m2 and 68 individuals with normal weight. The data was obtained using the sociodemographic information form completed by the participants, Beck anxiety scale, Beck depression scale and Golombok Rust Inventory of Sexual Satisfaction.
