Abstract
Fossil large mammal remains that come from the Penios valley, Thessaly, are described and compared to already known specimens. On the basis of morphology and biometry the sample is taxonomically referred to the species Elephas antiquus and Bos primigenius. An Upper Pleistocene age is assumed.
