Building Friendship

Abstract

Tom and Tomas trace the genesis of their interests in making through different personal experiences but also through their subsequent involvements in each other’s lives. A friendship that developed, in part, out of a common interest in making was given impetus through a practical exploration of these ideas. Tom explains: “We both realized we lived near here, had long holidays, we both liked making things, and we probably had very similar architectural sensibilities.
