Abstract

High performance liquid chromatography with diode-array detector (HPLC-DAD) has been fully validated according to AOAC requirements for the determination of adenosine and cordycepin in dietary supplements containing Cordyceps. Chromatographic conditions using InertSustain C18 (250 mm × 4.6 mm; 5 µm) column, with gradient program composed of methanol and water eluted in 35 min, diode-array detector at 260 nm, flow rate of 1.0 mL/min.
