The PD phase pattern, PD Pulse sequence pattern and PD frequency spectrum of PD pulse are measured by 5 voltage variations that is at 5 kV, 5.5 kV, 6 kV, 6.5 kV and 7 kV. From the results of the study found the number of negative PD in air isolation at a voltage of 5 kV, 5.5 kV, 6 kV, 6.5 kV and 7 kV in 100 cycles respectly 3839, 4144, 6538, 6754 and 7181. Abstract

Partial discharge is one type of failure that occurs in the isolation of high voltage equipment. Partial discharge can cause damage or breakdown of high voltage equipment.
