The study relied on primary data which was gathered using structured questionnaires from senior managers. Both descriptive statistics and inferential statistics were employed for data analysis  \nFindings: The results affirmed that shareholder rights positively and significantly influenced Deposit Taking SACCO’s performance in Kenya. \nImplications/Originality/Value: This paper enriches current literature by examining the influence of shareholder rights on Deposit Taking SACCO’s performance. The findings may be of vital importance to policy makers when developing policies on shareholder rights. Abstract
