Abstract
Dr. Tak W. Mak is Director of the Campbell Family Institute for Breast Cancer Research, Director of the Advanced Medical Discovery Institute, and Senior Scientist in the Division of Stem Cell and Developmental Biology. In 1984 he gained international notoriety for cloning the T-cell receptor, and he remains one of Canada’s most highly-cited scientists.
