Jamu chili besides having a price that attracts the attention of farmers, the demand for herbal chili also makes farmers want to keep cultivating it. Therefore, to measure the interest of chili-herbal farmers in Pakandangan Barat Village, a study was conducted which aims to determine the level of interest of farmers and the factors that influence the interest of chili-herbal farmers in West Pakandangan Village. The method used is descriptive analysis with multiple linear regression. The results showed that most of the farmers' level of interest was high with a percentage of 86%. Abstract

Pakandangan Barat Village is one of the villages in Sumenep Regency where many farmers cultivate herbal chili plants as side crops using traditional farming techniques. Chili plants are plants that are widely used by the traditional medicine and pharmaceutical industries. Jamu chili besides having a price that attracts the attention of farmers, the demand for herbal chili also makes farmers want to keep cultivating it. Therefore, to measure the interest of chili-herbal farmers in Pakandangan Barat Village, a study was conducted which aims to determine the level of interest of farmers and the factors that influence the interest of chili-herbal farmers in West Pakandangan Village.
