Abstract

Quelle que soit la plaie, il importe dans un premier temps de traiter son étiologie. Secondairement, il incombe au soignant de choisir les pansements favorisant la cicatrisation en répondant à l’objectif de soin. Les pansements secondaires et les moyens de fixation possèdent un rôle primordial en cicatrisation dirigée et ne se résument pas à de simples systèmes de maintien. Leur diversité garantit une individualisation du soin. Comme tout dispositif médical, ils sont soumis à des règles d’utilisation et de prescription que les soignants doivent connaître.

Whatever the wound, its treatment is primarily that of its etiology. Secondarily, it is the responsibility of the caregiver to choose dressings that promote healing in a humid environment by meeting the goal of care. The secondary dressings and the attachment means have a primary role in directed healing and are not limited to simple holding systems. Their diversity guarantees individualization of the treatment.
