Abstract

Abstract A new crane fly species from Vietnam, Tipula (Vestiplex) laocai Pilipenko & Starkevich sp. nov. is described and illustrated. A list of species belonging to the group of Tipula (Vestiplex) himalayensis is revised and identification key is provided.
