Then new method to determine operating reserve requirement is supposed with consideration of interrelationship among different reserves under a simultaneous co-optimization scheme of various ancillary services. Abstract
Operating reserve is essential for system operator to maintain reliable operation of power system in real time. Traditionally, static approaches are used to establish the required capacity for operating reserves.
