It is found that, first, horticultural therapy can reduce depression and anxiety, reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, and promote physical health in the elderly. Secondly, horticultural therapy for the physical and mental health of the elderly in China is in its infancy, while the development abroad is relatively more mature. Abstract
