Abstract

A new Paronthobium Paulian from New Caledonia (Coleoptera, Scarabaeoidae, Epilissini). A new species of the genus Paronthobium Paulian, 1984, P. poirieri n. sp., is described from New Caledonia, illustrated and compared with P. taom Montreuil & Théry, 2016, its most related species.
