Death is considered as axiogenic situation that fears the majority of people. In humour discourse, addressers are laughing at death to remove themselves from it and become higher than the death. It was concluded that the important characteristics of death in humour are helplessness, worsened physical and psychological health of an elderly person, immediate death, absence of willingness to continue the life path, and unwillingness to accept death.
