Abstract

OBJECTIVE: To acquire and collect information regarding Dengue Fever (DF) awareness in rural population. METHODOOGY: A descriptive cross sectional observational study was conducted among 100 individuals from rural population of Gujrat from March to May 2017 and non-probability cluster sampling was done. All consenting individuals aged above 18 years and above encountered in selected rural areas interviewed using a structured, pre-tested questionnaire. Data regarding age, gender, occupation, mode of spread, vector, prevention, management and outcomes was collected. Data was analyzed using SPSS version 20.0. Results are expressed as mean±SD for continuous variables such as age and number (percentage) for categorical data such as gender.

目的:了解和收集农村人群登革热(DF)认知情况。方法:于2017年3 - 5月对100名古吉拉特邦农村人口进行描述性横断面观察研究，采用非概率整群抽样。所有在选定的农村地区遇到的18岁及以上同意的个人都使用结构化的预测试问卷进行访谈。收集了有关年龄、性别、职业、传播方式、媒介、预防、管理和结果的数据。数据分析采用SPSS 20.0版本。对于年龄等连续变量，结果以均数±标准差表示;对于性别等分类数据，结果以百分数表示。
