Abstract

Text-study of nine different ballads from Aces (Candamo, Asturias). Together with frequent ballads ( Gerineldo, Las senas del esposo, La boda estorbada ) some other less common or more interesting are edited ( El rey y la Virgen romera, La esposa de don Garcia), whose texts are studied more in detail because of the usual lack of researches on them .
