Abstract

In this paper, we present an overview of our efforts in facilitating humanities research in a supercomputing environment. We discuss some of the challenges related to adapting a humanities research workflow on High Performance Computing (HPC) resources and also present an overview of the design of Large Scale Video Analytics (LSVA) project that will be deployed on Gordon supercomputer at the San Diego Supercomputing Center (SDSC).
