The purpose of the study is to present a model of activating cognitive interest among schoolchildren in the process of integrating mathematics with various fields of knowledge, and to show its effectiveness in teaching mathematics in specialized (engineering) classes, based on scientific data and our own methodological experience. Generalization and concretization of information from scientific sources on the research topic were carried out to create the author's model. The specified model is developed, presented and described. Scientific novelty lies in: problem statement, scientific and methodological analysis of literature, development and testing of models, games and analysis of the results of the experiment. Based on the results of the study, the experience of using this model by the authors in specialized (engineering) classes of a general education school is shown, and the results of testing are presented and analyzed. The work with students of the Pedagogical University in this direction is described and its results are given. Abstract
The article considers the use of gamified educational tasks in mathematics with the content of an integrated nature as a means of activating the cognitive interest of students in a general education school.
