Abstract

Dual three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor (dual three-phase PMSM) contain serious current harmonics due to the mutual inductance coupling between the winding sets. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes an improved method of current harmonic elimination based on vector space decomposition (VSD), which achieves current decoupling control. Compared with direct control of current harmonics in conventional VSD, this method realizes closed-loop control of the flux linkage harmonics according to the analytical model of flux linkage. Finally, the simulation results show that the 5th and 7th current harmonics have decreased obviously, which verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
