A survey of thermochemical biomass processing activities

Abstract

A comprehensive world-wide database has been established of research, development, demonstration and commercial activities in thermochemical conversion of biomass. This paper summarises the objectives of the project and gives the most recent listing of activities and organisations around the world with some analyses of the data collected. It is intended that the full database be published in the summer of 1990 in loose-leaf form to permit periodic updates to be included. At this stage any comments on inaccuracies or omissions would be most welcome and should be sent as soon as possible to the project leader above.
