Abstract

The wide spread of COVID-19 is seriously affecting countries around the world. The lockdown policy has facilitated a profound impact on the power industry. Specifically, the article takes China as an example to explain the development of COVID-19 epidemic. Then it analyzes the influence and specific reasons of energy and fuel provision under lockdown. The article focuses on the changes of generation, load and stability of power system with causes. Furthermore, it looks forward to the impacts of lockdown policy on the power industry in the future.
