This research method uses descriptive qualitative research, with the reception theory from Stuart Hall which divides the reader's reception into 3 types, namely dominant, negotiating, and opposition. This study uses content analysis techniques from data obtained from the Twitter comments column and the Goodreads comment column, which are then entered into a table, then analyzed using table analysis techniques to prove the differences in data from the two applications. This research produces an answer that there are some differences in the reader's reception of the novel Dikta and Hukum from both Twitter and Goodreads social media.
