Abstract

T publication of volume 60 of Studies in Bibliography provides an appropriate occasion for bringing up to date the record of the Society’s activities that appeared in its fi ftieth-anniversary history in 1998 (item 1998.2 below). While the nature of the sections is self-evident, the essays that accompany the original listing provide useful context for understanding the undertakings and accomplishments identifi ed here. The fi rst four essays in the book were also published in SB 50 (1997), 1-212.
