Using an acceleration voltage of 50 kV, ion currents of up to a few hundred μA can be handled. The ion current and resolving power can be varied within wide limits by adjusting the position of the lens system during operation. Abstract
A 90° electromagnetic isotope separator with a beam radius of 100 cm is described. Using an acceleration voltage of 50 kV, ion currents of up to a few hundred μA can be handled.
