Abstract

Hydroxytriazene compounds (HT) were synthesized and the purity of each hydroxytriazene was checked by physical characteristics and elemental analysis. The synthesised hydroxytriazenes were studied for acute and sub-acute toxicity in rodents. The acute toxicity study was carried out to determine LD 50 and behavioral activity. The sub-acute toxicity studies were done to investigate the effect of hydroxytriazenes on hematological and biochemical parameters. The results of this study indicate that hydroxytriazenes have no significant influence on hematological parameters, but some biochemical parameters are changed significantly.
