The study analyzes 1015 documents by 160 scholars across 40 countries and identified the top 20 influential articles. The research on Digital storytelling covers 24 subject areas, among which Social Sciences, Computer Science, Arts and Humanities are the most involved. Based on the data generated from VOSviewer, four clusters are analyzed and named as: Sociology, Pedagogy, and Computer Interaction.
