Lattice Green function for the simple cubic lattice

Abstract

A particular lattice Green function for the simple cubic lattice is evaluated exactly as a square of a Heun function, and as a product of two complete elliptic integrals of the first kind. Applications of these results in lattice statistics are briefly described.
