The operating parameter (residence time) was investigated its effect on the SS removal, and the particle size distribution of effluent was analysis. The results showed that this system could remove the SS with high efficiency. When the residence time was 24hrs, SS could remove over 90%. From the Particle Size Distribution analysis, the results revealed that the particle size > 30µm and <4µm of SS cloud be removed in sediment area by physical sedimentation.
