A brief analysis on the sustainable development system of architectural ceramics industry and the causality

Abstract

How to achieve the sustainable development of the architectural ceramics industry has become an urgent problem pressing for solution. This paper analyzes the industrial system of the architectural ceramics industry (ACI) in a sustainable manner, and puts forward a system framework of “characteristics constructional architectural ceramics industrye-conomy - resources and environment”. Based on the causal relationship between them, the paper makes sure that the basic goal of the sustainable development of ACI is to set up a mechanism, which can satisfy the coordinated development of socio-economy and ACI with the consideration of the carrying capacity of resources and environment. Also the paper indicates several key points on the choice of its sustainable development model and promoting measures.
