Abstract

The article is devoted to the album entitled Umarli zywi by Teofil Lenartowicz. The Author describes the contents of the collection, the history of its attribution and the state of studies. His attention is also focused on the title of the album itself and its historical genealogy. The final fragment of the letter is devoted to a particular problem which concerns references to the culture of Renaissance.
