The influence of the information environment on the formation of the identity of Russian youth on the example of the North Caucasus

Abstract

This article examines the influence of the information environment on young people living in the territory of the multinational North Caucasus in the context of such a complex psychological and pedagogical category as identity. Possible ways of forming ethno-cultural identity in the conditions of the information society are analyzed. The purpose of the study was also to analyze the emotional coloring of the ethnic identity of young people and to determine the current indicators of their perception of their own personality as part of a social group. As a result of the study, a number of proposals and directions for practical work with young people have been formed, aimed at shaping their ethno-cultural identity in the conditions of the information society.
