Análisis de la producción y colaboración científica de Instituciones: el caso del Instituto de Investigaciones en Matemáticas Aplicadas y en Sistemas (IIMAS) de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM)

Abstract

A bibliometric profile of scientific production on Computer Science (CS) of the Instituto de Investigaciones en Matematicas Aplicadas y en Sistemas (IIMAS) is presented using information of Web of Science database (WoS), covering the span 1980 to 2016. The profile includes total publication, total cites, journals by publication frequency, highly cited documents, impact factor, as well as bibliometric networks considering institutions, coauthors, and WoS categories. Using the Web of Science classification allowed to see that Artificial Intelligence was the category whith higher frecuency, while Theory & Methods had more cites per document. From the 1373 documents included in this analysis, 30 percent were the result of international collaboration.
