The detection of high voltage can only be operated by high voltage live display device. This paper puts forward an improvement scheme for the traditional high voltage live display device. The optical voltage sensor is proposed to replace the traditional sensor for measurement, and the finite element software ANSYS Maxwell 16.0 is used to simulate and analyze the field strength distribution of the points to be measured, so as to determine the best installation position of the sensor probe. The software is used to process the nonlinear signal, which improves the accuracy of voltage measurement.
