Abstract

Abstract A novel and efficient three-component reaction of substituted benzoyl chlorides, potassium selenocyanate and vinyl malononitriles was developed for the synthesis of polycyclic selenopyrans via an ultrasound-assisted domino vinylogous nucleophilic reaction/intramolecular selenocyclization/imine-enamine tautomerization reaction.
