Firstly, the model of the carrier rocket with the actuator failure is established. Different from the traditional models where only additive faults are considered, this paper considers the multiplicative faults. Then a set of multiple-model unknown input observers are designed to generate a certain residual value, where an adaptive method is applied to estimate the value of the unknown input. Based on the residual value and multiple-model, the faults are determined. Abstract
Fault diagnosis problems of the carrier rocket actuator are investigated based on the multiple-model method. Firstly, the model of the carrier rocket with the actuator failure is established.
