Abstract

This paper deals with an approach to parallel processing in telecommunications based on fine granule decomposition of call and service handling processes. Call and service requests, as well as their representation with elementary tasks and task patterns, are described. An abstract model suitable for massively parallel processing has been disclosed.<>
