Multigeneration theorem for a class of eight-link mechanisms

Abstract

The present paper investigates the existence of coupler cognate mechanisms of a class of eight-link mechanisms. This class of eight-link mechanism have a quarternary link placed at one of the two fixed pivots. The eight-link mechanisms examined have at least one dyad (consisting of one binary and one ternary link) which is connected to the quaternary link.
