Temperatures of glow peaks of LiF:Mg, Cu, P are relatively high, and the TL would hardly decay after a relatively long period, so the TL dose response curves are nearly linearity. Abstract

To choose the best thermo luminescent dosimeters (TLDs) for low radiation dose detector, thermo luminescence responses of three kinds of TLDs, Al2O3: C and LiF: Mg, Cu, P, were measured, and the natural background radiation in Zhanjiang is used as a low radiation field. The TLDs' sensitivities were compared, Al2O3:C (the threshold dose of is about 1-2μGy) is in some sort more sensitive than LiF:Mg, Cu, P (the threshold dose of is about 2μGy).
