Abstract
We are developing multi-hop wireless LAN access points (APs) for a Community Information Network (CIN) to be deployed in Takanawa area, Minato City, Tokyo, Japan, to transfer information supporting citizens' daily lives and to provide the internet access environment for both residents and tourists. This paper shows a prototype development of the AP device for the CIN made by the Raspberry Pi boards and performance evaluation of a multi-hop wireless LAN constructed by the prototype AP devices.
