Abstract

The article is based on research material consisting of ethnographic interviews with young non-normative Poles practising as religious members of the Roman Catholic Church. The author analyses their life narratives, discussing how they are struggling to integrate their religious beliefs with their non-normative gender and sexuality, gradually distancing themselves from the institutional Church and sensing that they a becoming “a minority within a minority”.
