Abstract

Herbal medicinal products with a broad activity spectrum may be promising alternatives to treat functional gastrointestinal disorders (FGD). Menthacarin® is a drug with a fixed combination of peppermint and caraway oils, which is clinically used to treat FGD‐associated symptoms.
