Optical coherence tomography for differential diagnosis of retinal detachment in partial hemophhtalmos and assessment of disease dynamic

Abstract

Hemophthalmos is one of the urgent conditions in ophthamology. Diagnosis of acute vitreous hemorrhage includes an examination of the fundus, however, a decrease in the transparency of optical media makes it difficult to establish the cause and choose the appropriate management method. OCT allows, mutually with other methods, to visualize the necessary retina area with moderate or even severe opacities caused by hemophthalmos.
