Ag-NP was obtained by the reduction of Ag+ ions through the action of green tea infusions. Abstract

Silver nanoparticles (Ag-NP) are being used increasingly in wound dressings, catheters and various household products due to their antimicrobial activity. Ag-NP synthesized by different methods, one of them biological method, in which extract from plant can used as reducing agent in synthesis of metal nanoparticles. Synthesis of Ag-NP in fresh green tea extract has been carried out in this work as an environment friendly approach.
