Abstract

Drug discovery for non-life-threatening disorders is an active area of medicinal chemistry research. This chapter will describe the discovery and properties of phosphodiesterase 5 inhibitors for erectile dysfunction, the medicinal chemistry of agents for treatment of insomnia, and smoking cessation.
