Physiological base-line studies of zoological specimens. Serum biochemical values of chimpanzees.

Abstract

Abstract : Biochemical titres of various components in the sera of 52 chimpanzees are presented. The findings are compared with man and the Macaca mulatta monkey. The method employed for each specific analysis is briefly discussed. The concentrations of the factors in the serum of the chimpanzee herein reported are similar for the most part to those in human serum.
