The magnetic field effects are stronger for magnetic fields parallel to than transverse to the electric current flow. Abstract
The resistivity of BaTiO{sub 3}-based, positive-temperature-coefficient (PTC) ceramic materials is not significantly affected by applied magnetic fields at temperatures below the Curie temperature, {Tc}, but it increases with increasing magnetic field when temperatures exceed {Tc}.
